Meet the Sharp
In this project, I want to explore the dynamic form of geometry. Sharp is a chair with different shape in different scenarios. When nobody sits on the chair, the chair stands on one point. if someone sits on the chair, the pressure will push the middle part of the chair and the legs of the chair will open as the supports of the weight.
The core part of the chair consists of 6 same triangular pyramids, all connected by 5 strings.
